Dr. Poovamma is an esteemed consultant with extensive experience in the field of surgery, particularly specializing in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery. She holds the distinction of being the first graduate of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) program for the Fellowship in Breast Diseases. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Poovamma actively participates in various teaching programs. She serves as a faculty member for the Fellowship in Breast Diseases and Cancer at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, as well as for the DNB General Surgery program under the Directorate National Board. Dr. Poovamma’s contributions to the medical field extend beyond her clinical work, as she has been credited with numerous publications and paper presentations.
