Dr. Kuntal is a highly skilled and experienced professional in the fields of Dermatology, Hair Transplant Surgery, and Aesthetic Dermatology. He primarily practices at the DHI and Asian Roots clinics in Kolkata, while also traveling to various DHI locations across India. With over a decade of experience, he has successfully conducted thousands of hair transplant and restoration procedures as part of the DHI group. Dr. Kuntal earned his MBBS from Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, and his M.D. in Dermatology from R.G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata.

He holds the distinction of being a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD) and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the International Society of Cosmetic Dermatology, IADVL, the Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons (India), and the Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of India. In addition to his role as an Aesthetic Dermatologist, he serves as the Medical Director of Asian Roots Skin Clinic in Kolkata.

Dr. Kuntal is proficient in a range of cosmetic procedures, including anti-acne treatments, pigmentation therapies, scar reduction, and aesthetic treatments such as Botox, fillers, skin rejuvenation, and hair growth therapies like Mesotherapy, PRP, and hair transplants. He also specializes in laser procedures for skin rejuvenation, hair reduction, and scar treatment. Dr. Kuntal is the Convener of the Hair Transplant & Trichology wing of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL) and is involved in coordinating multicentric studies on various topics, including the use of Tofacitinib for scarring and non-scarring alopecia, the efficacy and side effects of Finasteride and Dutasteride, standardized protocols and photo guidelines for hair transplants, and the application of Tranexamic Acid in hair transplantation.
